NexTec is a Gold Certified Acumatica partner and is honored to present alongside our customer Industrial Specialty Services USA LLC (ISS) about the oil and gas startup’s journey to selecting and implementing Acumatica in just six months.
Amidst an extremely tight deadline, the COVID-19 pandemic and Hurricane Hanna beating down on the company’s headquarters in Deer Park, Texas, ISS worked with NexTec and consulting partner BDO Digital to quickly select Acumatica and get to work on the implementation process.
NexTec’s deep knowledge of the oil and gas industry helped ISS establish best business practices as a competitive edge to help them not only launch but scale quickly.
On top of this, BDO Digital helped architect and implement ISS’ IT network infrastructure and IT department support services. BDO also leveraged its enterprise-level relationships to procure the necessary hardware for all ISS locations and employees.
What truly set ISS’ Acumatica implementation apart from other ERP projects was that the entire implementation and training process – other than NexTec’s initial discover meeting and go-live– was done remotely. With the help of Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365, ISS shifted to virtual meetings and had everything up and running in just six months, half the time from final cutoff deadline.
Since go-live, ISS has been able to:
- Track profitability by location, site level or customer
- See billable hours in real time
- Track critical KPIs such as employee utilization and employee revenue levels on a project, division or consolidated basis
- Improve liquidity by invoicing two months of billings for its first closing
